My name is Brenden Field and I love rail photography as it combines my interest with trains with my creative side. My other interests include normal photography, mountain biking, drumming and drawing/painting. I like to listen to at least a solid hours worth of music each day, which is usually grunge/post grunge with Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and Something For Kate being my favourites.

My site for rail photos and creations for the game Trainz under the banner of Southern Cross Railz. Also my pics of my fictional Trainz layout Wallabrook to Newstan.
My nickname denotes the line I have lived next to for most of my life in NSW Australia. I have been photographing trains with film since the age of 11 and upgraded to a small digital camera 2 years ago. I have been using my mate's digital camera for some
years beforehand and this is why some of my older shots can be found on his site (PB's Rail and Steam pictures).
I now have a Canon 40d EF-S IS 17-85mm to take the shots (especially night shots) I've dreamed of for years and will add some of these shots soon.
